Grimes

Claire Elise Boucher (bu:'SeI/boo-SHAY) born on March 17, 1988. The name she is given is Grimes. [2][3] The range of her first music has been described as "lo hi R&B" as well as "futuristic dance-pop". In addition, she has used elements of hip hop, electronic and rock. Her lyrics frequently address science fiction and feminist themes. Grimes has released five studio albums. Grimes was raised in Vancouver before moving to Montreal. Her first independent music career in late 2000s. In 2010 she debuted two albums with Arbutus Records, Geidi Primes (and Halfaxa), respectively. In 2012, Visions the third album she released on her studio. Grimes signed with 4AD. Visions includes the singles "Genesis" as well as "Oblivion" and was awarded the Canadian music industry Juno Award for Electronic Album of the year. In the years following, her fourth studio album, Art Angels, was released in the year 2015 and garnered critical praise as several publications have rated it as the top album of the year. Miss Anthropocene was her fifth album in the studio. Outside of music, Grimes had a voice performance in the gaming action Cyberpunk 2077 and is a judge on the popular music competition game series Alter Ego. Grimes Grimes Grimes
