Her mother was Cynthia Louise Bissett, vice president of mobile operator Verizon. Her father was Joseph Anthony Germanotta, Jr. A businessman. She was raised in the exclusive Manhattan Upper East Side with a Catholic family. This is why her parents sent her to the Convent of the Sacred Heart, a religious and elitist school.
